Being completely a novice in terms of practicing zen, I am not really in a position to define what the \"zen mind\" is. However, from what I have read and heard, it seems that the \"child mind\" is not so different.<\/p>\n<p>Many years ago, back in Norway, autumn was coming to an end and Christmas was coming closer every day. Waking up one morning, I took a peek out my bedroom window. Winters first snowflakes  were falling. Big, fluffy, white snowflakes were covering the ground in a thin layer. Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. No urge to take a phot to preserve the moment for the future. No inner voice saying: \"This is surely beautiful! And I am truly the kind of guy who appreciates nature. Just the small things in life. Not like that man over there with his big house and fancy car.\"<\/p>\n<p>So what is all this fuzz bout \"adult practice\" and \"wiping your own ass\"?
